Job Summary

The role involves driving strategic communication efforts for large-scale organizational change initiatives.
The OCM Communications Specialist will develop and execute change communication strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement and increase adoption of new processes and technologies.
The role requires experience in change management, internal communications, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and deliver targeted communications.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and executing OCM communications to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Partnering with OCM, HR, IT, and business leaders to align messaging and ensure consistent communication across the organization.
Identifying key audiences and tailoring messaging to address stakeholder concerns, business priorities, and change adoption goals.
Managing a robust communication plan, ensuring timely and effective messaging throughout the change lifecycle.
Crafting clear, engaging, and persuasive internal communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, FAQs, leadership talking points, and intranet content.
Developing additional support materials, toolkits and engagement collateral to help employees understand and embrace change.
Leveraging various communication channels to reach diverse audiences.
Ensuring messaging is aligned with the company’s culture, brand voice, and business objectives.
Working closely with leaders and project teams to drive employee engagement and change readiness.
Conducting stakeholder assessments and feedback loops to gauge concerns, measure communication effectiveness impact, and adjust communication approaches as needed.
Managing the cross-functional Change Champions Network.
Planning and facilitating town halls, Q&A sessions, and leadership briefings to support change adoption.
Creating and implementing employee feedback mechanisms to measure communication effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Establishing KPIs and success metrics to assess the impact of OCM communication efforts.
Tracking engagement, readiness and adoption trends using surveys, analytics, and employee feedback.
Adjusting strategies based on data insights to enhance communication effectiveness.
Staying up to date with industry best practices in change management communications to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of experience in corporate communications, change management, or organizational development with a focus on OCM-related initiatives.
Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies for enterprise-wide change initiatives.
Strong experience with stakeholder engagement, messaging, and change adoption strategies.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Experience with internal communication tools and platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience in the healthcare, manufacturing, or distribution industries is a plus.
Familiarity with change management frameworks and communication best practices.
Background in training content development or instructional design is a plus.
